The compact, versatile Luxxor 24 metal-halide arc lamp uses only 24 watts, yet is 1.6 times brighter than a tipcal 150-watt halogen lamp. A mechanical iris varies light intensidy without changingthe color balance of the source. Operates from an AC power source or an optional rechargeable, sealed, 13 V lead-acid battery pack providing 2 hours of portable operation.
